FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best time of the year to see the whales?

Whales can be observed in Cabo from November to April, although the best time will be between December- Mid April

What animals will we see on open ocean safari?

Frequently we can spot:
-Sea lions
-Sea turtles
-Humpback Whales (Highest chance November to April)
-Dolphins
-Mobula rays (Highest chance May-July)

At times we can also spot:
-Orcas
-Other species of whales: Grey, Blue, Fin, Bryde’s, Sperm whales
-Stripped Marlins
-Sharks

When it comes to an ocean safari we cannot guarantee any particular sighting, but with plenty of time to search for the animals every tour is different and exciting.

What is included in the tour?

All of our tours include:
-Marine biologist guide
-Visit to the Arch & Sea Lions colony
-Hydrophone on board to listen to whale songs
-Professional photos
-Soft drinks & snacks

Snorkeling tours include also all the necessary gear: mask, fins, snorkels and a wetsuit, as well as underwater photos.

What are the chances of seeing whales on the tour?

So far we’ve had 100% successful rate of finding whales on all of our whale watching tours during the season. Since our excursions are longer than average, we always allow enough time to properly search for them, however, as these are wild animals in their natural habitat, sightings can never be guaranteed.

What should I bring on the boat with me?

We recommend bringing reef safe sunscreen, hat and a light sweater. For a snorkeling tour also a towel.
