Meet Angelika: a world traveler, marine biologist, and photographer with a passion for the ocean. Seven years ago, she arrived in Mexico to study whales and quickly fell in love with Baja, deciding to make it her permanent home. Since then, she has dedicated herself to leading excursions throughout the region and advancing her whale research. Angelika’s journey began on her first day in Cabo when she met Dario; together, they have forged a remarkable partnership in both life and work.

Boat Captain, Naturalist, Divemaster & Drone Operator
Meet Dario, a passionate nature enthusiast born and raised in Mexico. With a decade of experience on the water, Dario’s journey began as a flyboard instructor and evolved into roles as a deckhand and scuba diving guide, ultimately leading him to become a skilled boat captain. A dedicated naturalist, he holds a deep appreciation for marine wildlife, birds, and plants, complementing his expertise with professional photography and drone piloting. Dario’s remarkable ability to spot animals in their natural habitats makes every adventure memorable.
Our marine biologist was extremely knowledgeable and kind. Our driver was also excellent and kept a respectful distance from the wildlife, but ensured we had excellent views of Humpbacks we encountered. I appreciate the small group size and comfortable boat.

First of all, our tour guide was incredibly kind, professional and knowledgeable and yes, a real marine biologist. The tours are smaller on a good size boat so you can move around. We saw about 25 whales. The photos that Angelika took were incredible, the phone doesn’t do the justice.
